Discussion about Wolf Dogs, basically, dogs that are bred with Wolves can get polarized.
We are of the opinion that they are loyal, loving, intelligent and companions.
Are they for every one? No, not in our opinion. We do not believe that people should got out and get a Wolf Dog hybrid for what ever reason until they have learned as much as they can about the breed. They are not just dogs that are much more than that. They possess a personality, intelligence and instincts unlike dogs.
If you intend on having one as a companion it is imperative to get a pup from a quality breeder and get the pup as young as possible. Socialization of the pup is key.
Socializing involves, cuddling the pup, Skye needed to be bottle fed for a few days, hold the pup, pet and stroke the pup. Make sure that in the household interact with the pup daily. This will teach or imprint the pup that humans are part of their pack or kind.
