This blog is dedicated to Skye and our dear friend Hickory.
While photographing Skye having her first bit of dry food we were struck, even more than usual, with her beauty and her gentleness and the things that make her different, than most.
We brought her to an animal adoption event all wrapped snugly in a cloth carrying tote. One by one, men and women and kids would stroll by where she sat in the tote and in a plastic shopping basket. And each would ask what breed she is and when we would answer, their eyes would grow large with surprise and excitement and exclaim, really! A Wolf. Well not quite in reality but as close as one can get and they leave with a smile on their face after coming in contact with one of the creators children.
